Kids are special here at TSC

 

At The Surgery Center, we meet the extra special needs of children by creating a relaxed, safe and comfortable environment. To make children feel more at home, we encourage them to wear their own pajamas, and to bring along a favorite toy or blanket.

We encourage parents to discuss the surgery with the child beforehand to help alleviate unnecessary stress. Parents are allowed to stay with their child until surgery and may join them as soon as possible after they wake. We recommend that one adult drive the car and another adult care for the child.
