Rivera, Maria T. M.D.

Dr. Rivera is a Board Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist and specializes in treating children from birth to 18 years. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas University Hospital, Manila, where she was nominated for “The Most Outstanding Intern” award. Dr. Rivera did her Pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin where the student body of the Medical College of Wisconsin nominated her for “The Best Teacher Award.” She completed her Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. Dr. Rivera has been a presenter, both in national and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Rivera is a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Association (CCFA), American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), American Medical Association (AMA), North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), State Medical Society, and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
